Lake Trasimeno

Lake trasimeno

Lake Trasimeno  is in Umbria, on the border between east of Tuscany and west of Umbria, about 10 km from La Mucchia Vacation Rental, as main activities there is a shop “Valentino” who rent bikes for all ages, and there are treks to ride bikes around the lake. There all kind of sports to do at the lake, we mentioned biking but  as well as providing unspoiled nature and a refuge of birds and fish for outdoor enthusiasts, you can visit the islands named in Italian  isola maggiore, also shopping in the small ceramic shops of Castiglione del lago, a small medieval village, and there are fish restaurants around the 80 km of circumference of the lake, where you can sit and have fresh fish from the sweet water. Not far from the lake there is golf club with 19 holes “Lamborghini Golf Club”.

  1. Hi, i read your blog occasionally and i own a similar one and i was just curious if you get a lot of spam feedback? If so how do you reduce it, any plugin or anything you can advise? I get so much lately it’s driving me mad so any assistance is very much appreciated.

    • I get it too, what can we do, we are doomed to suffer :)

      • Wow, these are gorgeous! I’ve been to other parts of Italy (and have loved all of them), but haven’t made it to the Amalfi coast. These phoots definitely make me want to go there. SOON! Well done.

    • Yes truly beautiful paecls, though we were a bit disappointed with Pisa. We were fortunate enough to visit Arezzo on the day of it’s annual jousting festival and this was fabulous with marches through the town by great crowds in medieval costume, the most moving part was when one faction of drums and trumpets gathered in a Piazza and played the Grand March from Aida, really made the hairs on the neck stand on end. We stayed just outside Montepoluciano (?spelling) and would stroll through the streets in the evening of this beautiful hill town Tuscany is certainly to be recommended and one of our favourite Italian regions
