Even the biggest project begins with a dream. We had a dream, which became a reality; to own a farmhouse in Tuscany. After long negotiations and finally buying the Cortona villa in state of ruins, we worked two years to restore the beautiful villa in Cortona and converted the mansion into one of the finest Tuscany suites hotel in the region. Now, after four years of activity, we can say that we made it: The farmhotel is one of the most beautiful classic Tuscan homes, guests from all over the world are visitng us and staying at our suites hotel, visiting Cortona, one of Tuscany,s Gems, visiting Montepulciano, Pienza, Lake of Trasimeno, and many other ancient cities in Tuscany and Umbria, having fun with cooking lessons or having lunch at local typical Tuscan restaurants, touring Tuscany, shopping at the farmers markets and at the modern outlet village, tasting the best wines in the world at family wineries or taking tours at the big wineries, enjoying seasonal Medieval festivals or sun bathing around our swimming pool watching the beautiful sunset and the lights of Cortona on the hill. We are convinced that you will have the perfect getaway by staying at our vacation farmhouse for your cortona tourism. We are convinced that you will have the perfect getaway by staying at our vacation farmhouse for your holidays, just read what other guests wrote about us:

“We loved how convenient La Mucchia was to the Tuscan hill towns — Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Arezzo, etc. The nearby town of Camucia was our go-to place for everyday things — groceries at EuroStar and the most wonderful cappuccini every morning at Cafe Vanneli. The other nearby town, of course, is the beautiful and more famous Cortona, where we spent two days sightseeing. Uri and Zev provided several restaurant recommendations, including Pizzeria Il Cortona, which we loved so much that we went there TWICE for dinner! We had a wonderful Tuscan vacation and we recommend La Mucchia for other couples and families”.
