What I liked the best were the paintings on the walls, each apartment is a mini gallery with original oil paintings of Tuscany views, and in this medieval farmhouse, it all looks so charming and in harmony. We had a great time, the water in the swimming pool were cold but it is great swimming pool very nice with large terrace around it to catch sun bath, also a great barbecue, we backed some FIORENTINO steaks on that and it was fantastic too. Our children also had good time play badminton all day on the grass. Highly recommended place, it is true that the owners asked me to write a review for them, but anyway I was thinking alone to do it because this is the way to thank them for such hospitality.Thanks.

My husband and i celebrated 30 years of marriage this June and had the best time in Tuscany. It has been 2 weeks since we left La Mucchia in Cortona and we can not stop talking about our visit their. La Mucchia is owned and operated by extremely nice people who are very accommodating and interesting to visit with. This is a beautifully renovated farmhouse with tremendous charm. Each apartment is special and decorated with lovely oil paintings of Tuscan scenes. We will definitely return to this relaxing, magical place next year! I must not forget to mention the beautiful flowers that surround the premises.
We enjoyed everything about La Mucchia! Wish we could be their right now!

It was very good service and nice and warm staff. It was very easy to talk to the staff and they are very helpful with everything.
The home was nicely renovated and the apartments had nice furniture and a nice atmosphere.
It was close to Cortona and not far to a good supermarket COOP, also a good location for trips to Montepulicano, Montalcino, Assisi, San Gimingano and Siena.
We did like the hole place the most and that we took care of ourselves felt very nice and good. If there was anything that was a problem maybe it was the water in the pool, which caused some problem for our kids. But it is a new pool and it is tough to get the it right when there is many people swimming at the same time.
We are very pleased with our stay and can recommend it to everyone we know. And we hope to get back some day to our apartment.

Our 4-night vacation in La Mucchia luxury suits farmhouse, Cortona, Tuscany, was very pleasant.
The suite (#4) is very comfortable for a family of 4, it is well-appointed and everything is new and clean. There is a small table and chairs outside too to sit and have coffee near the lovely flowers. There is a lovely swimming pool too.
The owners are very kind and helpful and do their best to help in any question.
Location near Cortona is pleasant, the views are beautiful.
We certainly recommend staying at La Mucchia luxury suits farmhouse near Cortona, Tuscany!

I found La Mucchia casa vacanze very warm and welcoming and the owners extremely friendly. We arrived from Germany by train to Camucia and took a taxi we reserved, from the station to La Mucchia, actually it was 5 min drive, and the owners welcomed us in the reception. I have recommended La Mucchia to friends because this is my second visit at La Mucchia, I was there in Oct 2008 as they just opened. I find the Blog on their site extremely useful and recommend it all the time.
